Following on from the success of last year’s RAF Salute to the Queen’s Jubilee, this year we provided 2 screens to our client at RAF Cranwell for a spectacular evening of aerobatic displays and classical music.
Equipment Provided:
- 2 x 46sqm Mobile LED Screen with edit suite and on-board generator
- 2 x Pro-camera + crew
- 1 x Long Lens Pro-camera + crew
- 1 x Vision Mixer
- 1 x Screen Technician
This outdoor classical music event and air show required 2 outdoor LED screens to be positioned either side of a large stage. The evening’s performance told the dramatic story of an RAF Bomber Command crew based in Lincolnshire in 1943, alongside current operations of the RAF around the world. Screens were utilised to mix between a variety of archive footage and still images, information slides and live camera footage of the air craft displays and orchestral performances. The band of the Royal Air Force College performed alongside other entertainment and special appearances from seven Bomber Command veterans. The evening also had aerial displays from the Red Arrows and finished with a Proms-style finale and fireworks display – a truly spectacular evening!
